Doorways Of Life

This painting is about making choices in life- and each choice is a doorway to a different outcome. There are 4 doorways in this painting.

Most people have a “goal” of happiness or love or acceptance, maybe success..but we all have something we reach for and need. We take different opportunities (doors) to achieve what we want and some are right but sometimes we see through rose-coloured glasses or there's a barrier (the pink shape) in our way…but we keep trying different doorways. There are many influences around us, both external and internal and these are shown here by the lines and dots moving in and around the doorways ...but we choose our dorways and path and sometimes our path chooses us.  The symbolic sun and moon shapes indicate the passing of time.
