Music was always an integral part of her life as her father and brother were both full time professional musicians. As an ex graphic artist of 17 years, Diane’s process, translates the emotive essence of music into artworks made up of the composition of graphic shapes which denote the types of sounds in the music.  She creates visual “bridges” between these shapes in the same way the composer creates sound bridges between different sections of the music composition.
