Oil on Canvas about a metre square. This painting was all about early pioneering days in Australia: lost children, the white people  ploughing up the land, the endless salt bushes and tee tree, creamy white smooth trunked trees, waterholes  and grass trees..all the beautiful iconic features of our landscape.

This girl is a printmaker who also makes Babushka dolls . Her hair is carved out of the board it is painted on , in the same way Jade would carve designs out when making her lino cuts.
